Maria gives a shout out (Luis Armando style) to everyone.
This is a peek at our front driveway.... our gardener (AKA Luca) has his work pretty much cut out for him. Looks like he'll be working all weekend to fix the garden up.
This is one of our trash cans, the other one ended up about 2 houses away from ours (we've yet ventured out to recouperate it)....
Other than that, we were pretty lucky, unlike a lot of the Sanford residents which have been flooded. We had a little visitor (about the size of my fist) outside, right before the storm.

Visitors came and went, then came Tropical storm Fay or was it Hurricane Fay? Well either way Fay didn't want to go away. She came and lingered for the longest time, we've had record rain amounts, lucky for us that we haven't flooded (yet). They are expecting much more rain in the next 5 days.
Maria and Aurora have started school, although they've attended only 2-3 days so
far because of visitors or storm related absences. Hopefully I'll get some pictures up, they look soooo cute in their uniforms. Maria LOVES her new school and Aurora loves "Miss Shwabline" her new teacher and keeps singing a "Miss Swabline, Miss Swabline, good morning to youuuuu" song, which is adorable.
That's all for now.
I've been updating some pictures on facebook, for anyone that doesn't have facebook here is the link:
